Lloyd Cottage, Sakonnet, RI. I don't know much about Lloyd Cottage, but the house seems to be situated on what is today called Lloyd's Beach. The devastating hurricane of 1938 could have wiped the cottage out, or another natural disaster may have done the structure in.

Sakonnet Golf Club, 1944. Time marches slowly in Little Compton, RI. Many structures in town, like the Sakonnet Golf Club, look the same today as they did decades ago.

Motorists will encounter this Little Compton street sign on Main Road in Tiverton, near Brookdale Sakonnet Bay (Old heads will know this location as 'The Coachman').
