Image
Lloyd Cottage, Sakonnet, RI. I don't know much about Lloyd Cottage, but the house seems to be situated on what is today called Lloyd's Beach. The devastating hurricane of 1938 could have wiped the cottage out, or another natural disaster may have done the structure in.

Image
Scenic West Main Road overlook of Little Compton pasture. Artists love this vista on West Main Road in LC - they're easily able to capture the essence of 'God's Country' on a canvas. Featured is a bucolic setting with green rolling pasture extending to the Sakonnet. Middletown and Newport are across the river. Often times, cows are jovially grazing the field while taking in Little Compton's champaign air.
